We hope you will enjoy looking around our website.
We are a middle of the road Church of England with a diverse range of services and a great musical tradition.
The church is located in the old part of Wivenhoe. Find us on this location map.
Whether you are a Wivenhoe resident who does not generally attend church, or a visitor to the town, we would love to welcome you at our services.
Information about service times is available on our regular services page.

Dear web-friends
Whether our website is on your 'favourites' list or it's the first time you visit us, I warmly greet you.
When big sports events happen such as Football World Cup, Six Nations, the Olympics, the media drag us into the competition by covering every second of it. A spiritual event like the season of Lent doesn’t get this kind of coverage.
You may wonder what is more important: the England team scoring or living your life with a real purpose. England scoring is fun, living your life knowing that it has a goal beyond death gives deep joy. Fun is temporary, joy is permanent.
I wish you a joyful Easter and above all a fruitful time leading up to this festival of Life.
Erwin
